Uganda Cranes face DR Congo in the CHAN 2022 Kickoff at 7pm EAT in Algeria.

 The Uganda Cranes start their CHAN 2022 Campaign today in Algeria against DR Congo at 7pm EAT.

 The Uganda Cranes will be playing their first game in the CHAN 2022 taking place in Algeria.
Uganda is in Group B with Senegal, DR Congo and Ivory Coast.

Although the Tournament is played by local players, the group looks to be tough for the Ugandan side with the inclusion of African giants, Senegal and a threatening Ivory Coast side.

Previously in the last five games for Uganda including Friendly Football matches, Uganda has only 1 win against Tanzania(3-0), 3 draws and 1 loss to Tanzania (0-1) while DR Congo have lost 2 games and won the rest in their last five games. Head to Head,
Uganda have won 4 games and lost only 1 to DR Congo in their last five encounters in all competitions. Their last game was a 2-0 victory for Uganda in the AFCON 2019 in Egypt.
